Legal
Effective date: April 25, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how TEN45 handles information when you use the TEN45 iPhone app, widgets, and website.
TEN45 does not require you to create an account, sign in, or give us an email address to use the app.
Your settings and set history are stored on your iPhone so the app and widgets can work.
We do not use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or track you across apps or websites.
This Privacy Policy applies to TEN45, an iPhone app that helps you remember to stand up and do short squat sets on a simple timer. It covers the app, home-screen widgets, lock-screen widgets, app support communications, and the TEN45 website.
This Privacy Policy does not cover Apple services, your mobile carrier, your device operating system, or any third-party websites that may link to or from TEN45. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.
TEN45 is designed to work without an account and without a TEN45 server account. The app handles a small amount of information on your device so it can provide the timer, history, and widgets.
TEN45 may store settings such as timer interval length, squats per set, daily target, appearance preference, onboarding completion state, timer reset state, and optional display name if you enter one.
TEN45 may store records of logged squat sets, including a unique local record ID, timestamp, whether the set was logged after the timer became due, whether the set counts toward the active timer, and a snapshot of the reps-per-set setting used for that set.
TEN45 may store local state needed to update widgets, such as whether the widget appears to be installed and local timer state.
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, device details, crash details, or other information you include. Do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
The TEN45 website is a static marketing and legal site. It does not intentionally set cookies or run analytics scripts. A hosting provider may process ordinary server log information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested URL, and timestamp, to serve the site, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
Based on the current TEN45 app design, we do not operate app analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, or user accounts. We do not intentionally collect the following categories through the app:
TEN45 records user-entered movement activity inside the app. We treat that activity history as private, local app data.
Information handled by TEN45 is used to:
TEN45 is distributed through Apple's App Store and uses Apple platform features. Apple may process information related to downloads, purchases, crash reports, diagnostics, backups, widgets, and App Store interactions according to Apple's own policies and your device settings.
If you have enabled sharing diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide crash logs or diagnostic information to help us identify and fix issues. We use those materials only for debugging, quality, security, and reliability.
Depending on your iPhone backup settings, local app data may be included in device backups handled by Apple. TEN45 does not operate its own cloud backup service.
TEN45 is a general wellness utility. It is not a medical device and is not designed to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. TEN45 does not read from or write to Apple Health in the current app.
If you choose to use TEN45 to track movement breaks, that activity history is stored locally so the app can show progress and timing. You should not enter or send us sensitive medical information unless necessary for a support request.
App settings and set history remain on your iPhone until you reset progress in the app, delete records through app functionality, delete the app, erase your device, or otherwise remove the local data through iOS.
Support emails and related correspondence may be retained as long as needed to respond to you, maintain business records, resolve disputes, improve the app, and comply with legal obligations. Website logs, if collected by the hosting provider, are retained according to hosting and security needs.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or appeal regarding personal information we process. Because TEN45 is local-first, most app data is not in our possession. You can directly control local app data on your device.
If you contact us, we may hold support-related personal information. You may request access, correction, or deletion of that support information by contacting us. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any required choices.
Where European privacy law applies, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving TEN45, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations. You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
TEN45 is designed to reduce privacy risk by keeping core app data on-device and by avoiding account systems, advertising SDKs, and analytics SDKs. Local data benefits from iOS device security, sandboxing, and your device passcode or biometric settings.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining control of your device, passcode, Apple ID, backups, and any screenshots or support messages you choose to share.
TEN45 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support or another channel, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
If you contact us or access the website, information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
We may update this Privacy Policy as TEN45 changes or as legal, operational, or security requirements evolve. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
